Sandwich is rich with history being that it is the oldest town on Cape Cod. Located in Barnstable County, right over the Sagamore bridge, makes for an easy commute off Cape. The town slogan is Post tot Naufracia Portus, "after so many shipwrecks, a haven". As of the 2020 census, the population tallied in at 20,259.
