ABOUT
Derek was born in Plymouth, New Hampshire. He moved to Cape Cod when he was four years old with his family. Derek grew up playing basketball everyday outdoors with his younger brother, and his friends. Growing up in the small town of Brewster, he attended Brewster Elementary School and remains highly influenced by one of his mentors Bob Redd, who worked at the Brewster After School Child Care Program (BACC).

BACKGROUND
EDUCATION
Derek graduated from Nauset High School and went to college for graphic design at Palm Beach Community College in Florida. Later on, Derek returned to the Cape and started working at the RFK Children's Action Corp. As a residential counselor/supervisor, Derek worked with youth members of our community for more than ten years and fell in love with the art of service, forming many great relationships that he still keeps in touch with to this day. In 2019, Derek got his real estate license and joined Keller Williams Realty, inspired by his lovely wife Mariana Costa. His design and creative abilities were quick to notice as he began re-creating the design work for DREAM International Homes & Estates.

Derek dreams of a world that is united. He is kind toward all beings that cross his path & passionate about connecting through love, tearing down any form of social boundaries. Working with the DREAM Team, he realizes his need for connection & truly appreciates how everyone on the team shares the same dream of impacting the world, one story at a time. Starting with real estate as his main platform, Derek is constantly eager to expand his services and master himself through practice, exploring to even higher levels. At DREAM, anything is possible for a creative genius like Derek to inspire infinite possibilities!

Derek has a strong interest in music production, cinematography, graphic design, clothing design, basketball, cooking, art and travel. Derek is an avid reader and loves learning about self-improvement and the laws of nature. Believing that the youth is our future, Derek remains an active mentor and will always be involved working with the youth and raising vibrations.
